Shahid Kapoor to commence shooting for the last leg of ‘Jersey’ from next month

The much-awaited sport-drama featuring one of the best talents in Bollywood, actor ShahidKapoor, titled ‘jersey’ is nearing its wrap.

The much-awaited sport-drama featuring one of the best talents in Bollywood, actor ShahidKapoor, titled ‘jersey’ is nearing its wrap. Where the news of its first half being shot in the beautiful backdrop of Uttarakhandwas making rounds, the shoot of the last leg of the movie is reportedly scheduled to commence soon.

Thanking the government of Uttarakhand for their support for the smooth shoot amid tightened guidelines over the Coronavirus pandemic outbreak, ShahidKapoor took to his Twitter account announced the wrap up of its first part. As per media reports, the ‘Jersey’ actor is now all set to kick start the shoot of the remaining parts from the month of November. The news was also confirmed by the film’s producer, Aman Gill.

Talking about it he said, “We have one more schedule planned in November after which the postproduction will begin.” Also during the break, the actor will be practicing some of the cricketing shots, though the last schedule did not have much of cricket sequences, final schedule to be shot in Mumbai will have the actor filming some of the cricket sequences. Thanking the Uttarakhand government, Aman said, “Uttarakhand government’s policies were very efficient in ensuring a safe and productive shooting environment; all the SOPs were strictly maintained on the set.”

Talking about safety precautions on the sets, Aman further added, “Besides sanitising, wearing a mask and maintaining social distancing, everything else was the same as before.”

This highly anticipated sport movie stars ShahidKapoor’s father Pankaj Kapur and Mrunal Thakur. After the finishing the shoot for ‘Jersey’, the actor will reportedly start working for his upcoming web series helmed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK and ShashankKhaitan’s‘Yoddha’ starring DishaPatani in lead.
