Floods have created a havoc in Kerala. It is said to be the worst flood in 90 years. Almost 324 people have lost their lives and 10.28 lakh people are staying in 3274 relief camps. Donations and relief materials are being sent from all the states of the country and also from overseas.
Not only common men, also celebrities and cricketers are extending their helping hands to save the people of Kerala from this natural calamity. One of them is Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi. Shahid has a foundation and he has offered help through his foundation. He tweeted, “Deeply saddened by the devastating floods in #Kerala #India. The @SAFoundationN shares your pain & stands with our brothers and sister in need. May Allah ease your sufferings & you find quick relief. #KeralaFloods #SAF #HopeNotOut for Humanity.”
