Banerjee explained that nepotism in Bollywood, like any other field, stems from a natural tendency to trust family. “You don’t give your business to a stranger; you pass it on to your children,” he said. However, he also pointed out that this doesn’t mean opportunities are completely blocked for outsiders. “One needs to find their way, and unfortunately, that takes time,” he concluded.
