Shah Rukh Khan prepones the shooting schedule of ‘Saare Jahaan se Achcha’- Here is the reason Why?
The Aanand L. Rai film ‘Zero’ starring Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif failed to impress its audiences with minting not more than Rs 100 crore mark at the box office after two weeks of its release, while on the other hand Ranveer Singh’s superhit blockbuster film ‘Simmba’ successfully reached Rs 150 crores within first week of its release.
Well, it is unfortunate for the King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan who have always enthralled the audiences with its back to back eye-catching performances but unfortunately this time his movie ‘Zero’ failed to reach good mark at the box office.
Writer Anjum Rajabali was eager to work with actor Aamir Khan and was looking forward to work collaborating with him for his next ‘Salute’. ‘Saare Jahaan se Achcha’ was earlier titled ‘Salute’ and was offered to Aamir Khan.
However recently, the writer said that the ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ actor was so “consumed” by his project Mahabharata that he could not do the film anymore.
The 53-year-old actor said the film’s script is wonderful and he was really looking forward to work in the film.
The actor said to the leading media publications,”It is a great script. ‘Salute’ is a wonderful script and I am a big fan of Rakesh (Sharma). It’s a wonderful story and I feel sad that I was not able to do it, which is why I called up Shah Rukh and told him it was a wonderful story and he should hear it. I am glad he liked it. All my best wishes for the project.”
As per the media reports, Shah Rukh Khan has met with the producers and insisted to prepone the shoot of Rakesh Sharma biopic ‘Salute’ to February 2019 and not as originally planned for May.
Here are the reasons a source revealed to the media
(1)The project is expensive. Kapoor and Khan finds it imperative to start shooting by February so that the film doesn’t exceed the budget. Doing so will help them to wrap up the main schedules before summer. Given that certain crucial scenes must be filmed outdoors, the duo felt shooting in the bulky costumes would be impossible during those months,” said a source to the leading media publications.
(2) The Second Leg will be shot at an undisclosed location once the main portions are shot also the team have decided to wrap up the movie by June 2019.
(3) A trade insider further added that the Baadshah took a decision to shift all the negative vibes away from the movie ‘Zero’ and get fresh and positive attention from Rakesh Sharma biopic instead.
As Shah Rukh Khan’s space ambition in ‘Zero’ didn’t go well, we hope that his second space program in Rakesh Sharma’s biopic Salute will be a superhit at the box office.
