Shah Rukh Khan making changes to the story of Raees
Shah Rukh Khan is apparently not very happy with the script of his upcoming film Raees and is making some changes. Sources said that given SRK’s decades-long experience in the industry, the makers have bowed to his better judgment and are letting him make whatever changes he deems fit knowing that the film will benefit from them.
A source said, “It is an interesting tale of Shah Rukh’s character being brought up by the main villain of the story. The highlight of the film is when SRK comes in contact with this villain at the age of eight.”
“When he grows up his fight with this villain becomes his life. It’s a fight against evil. The storyline is very interesting, but if there are changes made to SRK’s childhood in the story line, then there will be a drastic changes in the plot itself.”
The sources adds that the story is now getting finishing touches and SRK will start shooting after he wraps up Fan. “If all goes well, the film can take off in May 2015.”
Also, it has now been confirmed that Nawazuddin Siddiqui will play a cop in the film, a role that was earlier supposed to be essayed by Farhan Akhtar. Raees is being directed by Rahul Dholakia and produced by Excel Entertainment.
