When we said the word phobia, you must have imagined that our celebrities must be having hydrophobia, fear of eights or fire. But then, we see them performing stunts and act amongst these elements. Phobia is a sense of fear and we have to accept that our larger than life Bollywood celebrities are human beings and must be fearing something too. But the kind of things they are scared of will leave you surprised. Check out: 1. Anushka Sharma - Fear of Riding bikes Well it is quite surprising that she fears riding bikes, because we have seen her riding on a bike right since her debut movie ‘Rab ne Bana Di Jodi’ and the actress also rode a bike he roads of Ladakh for ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ as well. But there have been instances where the actress was petrified to even ride pillion with her co-actors while shooting scenes. We wonder how she managed to get over this phobia and appreciate her professionalism. 2. Arjun Kapoor - Fear of Ceiling Fans The actor who does crazy action stunts in almost all his movies like Ishaqzaade, Gunday and Tevar, to name a few. But can you believe that this bulky actor is scared of ceiling fans? You must be wondering what’s there to be scared of ceiling fans, but there is no particular reason for the actor’s phobia. And sadly due to this, there is not a single ceiling fan at the actor’s home. 3. Abhishek Bachchan - Fear of Fruits Junior Bachchan is so scared of fruits, that he has probably never eaten one ever. He stated this fact publically as well. For a mainstream actor like him, it necessary to follow a proper diet but Abhishek seems to have some really perfect alternative for fruits. His phobia for fruits was clearly seen on a cookery show when he got petrified at the sight of them. 4. Shah Rukh Khan - Fear of horse-riding How surprising is it to know that the Bollywood Baadshah Shahrukh Khan has a fear of horse riding? We have seen him performing this sport in movies like Asoka, but he tries to avoid such sequences as much as possible. The actor can perform stunts more intense and complex than riding a horse but is still scared of horse riding. We wonder why! 5. Sonam Kapoor - Fear of Elevators The Bollywood Fashionista’s fear is as amusing as some of her statement. She has got a fear of elevators. How weird is that? She has stated that she prefers taking stairs most of the times, and when she has got no choice, she squeezes herself in a corner and waits for the lift to reach her floor. 6. Katrina Kaif - Fear of Tomatoes Katrina Kaif can be listed after Abhishek Bachchan in the category of having weirdest phobias. Tomatoes are said to be good for skin and are included in almost every celebrity’s diet. Katrina’s fear of tomatoes must have gone next level while shooting the ‘Tomatina Festival’ sequence from ZNMD, right? Too add more to the surprise, Katrina even rejected an endorsement offer for a ketchup brand due to her fear. 7. Alia Bhatt-Fear of Darkness Finally, we have an actress who fears something very common to a lot of people. The 22 year old beauty gets scared of darkness and it is at such an intensity that she always sleeps in a dim light and keeps her curtains slightly open. A horror movie would thus be a wrong choice for her, right? We hope that these Bollywood celebrities get the strength to overcome their phobias and these fears don’t stop them from performing in front of the camera.
