Saumya Tandon Refused To Take Money For Promoting Political Party, Won Hearts Of Netizens

An investigative journalism firm named Cobrapost carried out a sting operation searching for Bollywood celebrities who were willing to promote political parties for upcoming General Election by taking some money. Cobrapost Expose revealed many names of popular film celebrities that include actors, singers, directors, and musicians, who were willing to share political posts on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook in exchange for money.

Almost all Bollywood stars have a social media account and they used their social media profile to promote certain products. However, when they try to promote political parties discreetly, their fans believe they are actually listing out benefits of particular party and vote for them, which is kind of manipulating votes.

However, there are some celebrities, who refused the offer made by the Cobrapost representative and outright refused to promote any political parties. One such celebrity is Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain actress Saumya Tandon.

In the video released by Cobrapost, she can be seen refusing to take money for sharing her personal opinions on social media for any political parties. She calls it against her ethics. This has only made us love her more. You can watch the video down below.
