Bollywood upcoming film Student Of The Year 2 is currently in the pre-production process. One thing was sure that Tiger Shroff is essaying the titular role but there were rumors about the leading lady. Earlier, it was reported that Disha Patani might be the face of the film as a lead actress but now we are hearing a whole new different story. At latest, we heard that Disha Patani is being replaced by none other than Sara Ali Khan.

Recently, Disha Patani has roped into essay the lead role in the film. It was also heard that she has rejected all her projects to be a part of SOTY 2 but now she must be diappointed if we believe in the latest report by Spotboye. As per their reports, “Naturally, Disha is disappointed. She had kept a chunk of dates aside for SOTY 2 and may now have an empty date diary.” She has already worked in films like MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and Kung Fu Yoga. This will surely be a big loss for the actress, who is just beginning her career in Bollywood.
We know how big this film is for Tiger Shroff, who has already made a name for himself with action movies like Heropanti, Baaghi, A Flying Jatt and upcoming Munna Michael. The film is being produced by Karan Johar, who is also a good friend of Jackie Shroff. A close source to SOTY 2 said, “The first SOTY film was a love triangle set on a college campus, but the second won’t have another leading man. It’s a solo-hero film. Karan has always been a Jackie Shroff fan. Working with his son is something he wanted to do from the time Tiger was ready to make his debut.”
Reports also claimed that Sara’s mother Amrita Singh wanted her to work with Hrithik Roshan in her first film. Well, now this news will surely make her happy as this would come as a big break for Sara Ali Khan!
