Umesh Shukla has reportedly met Sanjay Dutt when he was out of Yerwada Jail on parole, to discuss the project and convince the actor to act in his movie. After getting a go-ahead from the actor for the concept, Umesh is now working on finalising the script’s draft.
However, he has All Is Well to finish and shoot an important song with Sonakshi Sinha in the coming days. Since that takes up most of his time, he has been burning the midnight oil, sitting up through the nights with his team to work on the script for Sanjay’s film.
A source close to the director told us, “Umesh writes his own scripts and spends a lot of time before taking a film on the floors. He is keenly aware that he needs to present Sanjay in a certain manner on screen and the script and treatment need to suit that. So he’s juggling the post-production of All Is Well and the writing for this project.”
