Thugs of Hindostan is an upcoming film starring Aamir Khan and Megastar Amitabh Bachchan. This mega-budget film was announced last year, but the makers are still scouting for the leading lady. Earlier, there were reports that Vaani Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have high chances to be locked for the project. But, the latest news says that Katrina Kaif might be locked for it!

Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif have already been worked together in 2013 hit film Dhoom 3. It was a blockbuster movie and if they starred again than Thugs of Hindostan will also be a sure shot hit. The name of Katrina Kaif is being recommended to the makers by none other than Salman Khan.
Currently, Katrina Kaif is being worked with Salman Khan on the project, Tiger Zinda Hai. So after that, Thugs of Hindostan will be the right film for her. As per the source, “Salman wants Katrina to play the heroine opposite Aamir Khan in Thugs of Hindostan and hence, he gave her name as a suggestion to the production house. He has already put in a word as he feels that Thugs will be the perfect film for Katrina to be in after Tiger Zinda Hai. Both the films will obviously give a boost to her career and that’s what the actor wants. However, everything now lies in the hands of Aditya Chopra and Aamir Khan, who will decide on which actress will be a part of the movie.”
