Salman Khan’s Sultan Crosses 500 Crore Mark!
Salman Khan’s Sultan has dominated the box office since its release. It has been appreciated and dearly loved by critics and fans alike. This blockbuster film has rightly been labeled as a record breaker of the year. The film has just crossed two weeks at the box office and refuses to show any sign of going slow. Salman fan’s who were eagerly awaiting the much hyped film have gotten their money’s worth. The film has now officially crossed the 500 crore mark at the box office.
Sultan is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and stars Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma as wrestlers. The total collection of Sultan in India is approximately Rs.367 crores. The juggernaut of a film earned nearly Rs.140 crores in the worldwide market making the grand total collection of the film Rs. 507 crores approximately. The unfortunate leak of Great Grand Masti led Sultan to continue dominating the Box office. Without a strong competition at the box office, Sultan ended up overtaking all other films and continues to run successfully. The Salman-Anushka starrer has doubled the box office collection of Airlift which was the highest grosser of the year.
The movie is just moments away from the collections of Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Dhoom 3. The only obstacle in Sultan’s way is Aamir Khan’s P.K. It is predicted that director Ali Abbas Zafar’s Sultan will surely cross the 600 crore mark with ease if it continues to do well at the box office. Even if the collections are average it will be able to cross the 600 crore mark.
It’s certainly safe to assume that Sultan will probably break Aamir’s record for P.K. It looks like the Dabangg star has done it yet again! Hit after hit!
