Interestingly, this film is being inspired by Hollywood film Little Boy, which was released in 2015. The makers say that they liked the concept of Little Boy and that’s why they adapted it in Indian way. Talking about the same, Kabir Khan said, “Yes, it is the official adaptation of ‘Little Boy’. Though the story of the boy was in a religious context, we love the seed of the idea and that is why we bought the rights to the story from the makers and used it in our film that has war and history.
Helmed by Bajrangi Bhaijaan fame Kabir Khan, the film also stars Sohail Khan, Chinese actress Zhu Zhu, Late Om Puri and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in titular roles. Apart from this, SRK will also be seen in a cameo role. Tubelight is all set to hit the theaters on June 23, 2017.
After Tubelight, Salman will next be seen in Tiger Zinda Hai movie alongside former flame Katrina Kaif. Currently, the makers of Tiger Zinda Hai is shooting in Dubai, where the film will be shot in 65 days.
