Superstar Salman Khan expressed his gratitude towards the Uttar Pradesh Government and thanked Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav for making âBajrangi Bhaijaanâ tax free at movie theatres within the geographical boundaries of the state.
The âDabanggâ actor did this through a microblogging site on July 23 and thanked the government. Read the tweet below:

âBajrangi Bhaijaanâ has crossed the 100crore mark on the release weekend itself, and the movie was made tax-free after director Kabir Khan requested CM Akhilesh Yadav for it in a meeting. During the meeting, CM Akhilesh told Kabir Khan that the state has possibilities for production and the state government has got a convenient film policy which helped many film makers to shoot in the state.
The state has exempted many films like âTevarâ, âMiss Tanakpur Haazirâ, âHumari Adhuri Kahaaniâ and âMasaanâ from taxes.
