Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is known as an emotional gentleman among his friends, who believes in helping others and taking their career at great heights. At a recent event, director of the movie ‘Katti Batti’, Nikhil Advani spilled the beans disclosing who suggested Kangana Ranaut’s name for the Imran Khan starrer.
Mr Advani, who has worked with Salman in films like Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute To Love and Hero, says Salman liked the script of Katti Batti and felt that the ‘Queen’ actress would be the ‘’perfect choice’’ to play the role of Payal.
“Salman loved the script as soon as he heard it and suggested that Kangana would be the perfect fit for Payal’s character. Later that night, Salman called Kangana, who was in New York and told her that Payal’s character was tailor made for her. As soon as Kangana got back in town we took things forward,” Nikhil said in a statement.
‘Katti Batti’ is comeback movie of Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan’s nephew, Imran Khan. This is the first time Imran and Kangana are paired opposite each other in this romantic comedy movie. The Nikhil Advani directorial is slated to release on Sptember 18, 2015.
