Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ which lately turned out to be the biggest opener of 2016, seems like followed with its sequel in the coming year. According to the latest report, it has been come out that after seeing ‘Sultan’ rave response, the makers have locked Salman for the part 2 of the movie.
According to a report published in the Mumbai Mirror. YRF head Aditya Chopra has announced Sultan part 2 which will also star Salman Khan in it. Even, the director Ali Abbas Zafar will again helm the Director’s chair. There is no guarantee that Anushka Sharma will be in the lead for the next movie. As the news also states that the makers might search for a fresh face for the sequel.
We already know that Sultan will turn out to be the biggest grossing movie of the year. As the movie is praised by critics and even loved by Salman’s diehard fans. The movie will surely be in the 100 Crore club by the end of this weekend. As there are no big releases in this week, so Salman’s Sultan will be the only movie running in this week.
Sultan movie will surely be in the theaters for a month because there are no big releases in the next week which will give an added advantage to the more to rake moolah at the Box-Office.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film also stars Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh in the titular roles. At the Box-Office, Sultan raked Rs. 36.54 crore in its first day. With this earning, it breaks the first-day record of Shah Rukh Khan starred ‘Fan’ which earned 19.20 crore on an opening day.
