Salman Khan And Govinda To Rerate Magic Once Again In Partner 2
Superstar Salman Khan and Govinda created magic on Big Screen when they came together for 2007 blockbuster Partner. Now, there is a good news for fans, as we can see the sequel to the romantic comedy film. According to the report in leading online portal Mid-day, Sohail Khan is all set to direct Partner 2.
Ace director David Dhawan directed the first part in the Partner franchise, whereas Sohail Khan will don the director’s hat this time. The same report also suggests that the pre-production work for Partner 2 is in full swing. Sohail has already registered two titles ‘Partner 2 and Carry On Partner’ for the sequel. The makers have been looking to make the sequel for pretty long time, but nothing happened. They were unable to get the good script.
Then, there was news of a rift between Salman Khan and Govinda. Govinda has time and again said that he ‘should not expect too much’ from Salman. According to the report of India Today, Govinda was certain that Salman will launch his daughter Tina Ahuja in Bollywood. But that never happened, which irked the veteran actor.
However, both the actors have buried the hatchet and moved on. If the latest reports to be believed, Govinda has agreed to be part of the sequel to 2007 blockbuster Partner. When Govinda was asked about working with Salman in future, he said, “Why will I not work with him? We don’t have any issues with each other.”
Sohail Khan is also looking to sign two young actors in the movie. However, there is no confirmation about Katrina Kaif and Lara Dutt. Sohail is currently working on the script of the sequel and doesn’t want to hurry.
In the meantime, Salman Khan is all set for the release of his next action thriller ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. The actor is currently shooting for Race 3 as well as Bigg Boss 11.
