Race 3 happened to Bobby Deol when he was at down phase of his career. In an interview with Mid-Day, Bobby spoke how Race 3 happened to him. Actor revealed that Salman Khan took his audition and just asked one question, “Shirt utarega?”. Yes you read it right. This was the only question Salman asked Bobby before signing him for Race 3. Must say that these two Bollywood hunks look incredibly hot walking shirtless in trailer of the film. Bobby was quoted saying-
“One day, Salman called me and said, ‘Mamu, shirt utarega?’ I told him I am ready to do whatever he wants me to,”
Actor also added that Race 3 happened to him when he was at very crucial point of his career and was hungry for work.
“Salman called me at a time when I was focusing on my career again. I am hungry for more work and hopefully, things will turn around,”said Bobby.
Salman Khan also introduced Bobby Deol as “main man” of Race 3, on his Instagram. In Race 3, Bobby is one of the antagonists.
Actor further revealed that after having a conversation over phone, Salman invited Bobby at his place for lunch. Expressing how nervous he was while having lunch with Salman, Bobby said-
“The next day, he invited me over for lunch. I was incredibly nervous. In fact, before I sat down to have the meal with Salman, I excused myself to go to the washroom and I was so nervous that I couldn’t even find the tap,”
Bobby was last seen in Poster Boys (2017), which was flop at box office. Post Race 3 he is lined up for Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se and Housefull 4. Directed by Remo D’Souza, Race 3 releases on Eid this year. Stay tuned with us for more latest Bollywood news and gossips.
