Salim Khan backed Salman over Olympics Goodwill Ambassador issue

Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who is currently busy with the promotions of ‘Sultan’, has become the topic of debate now. Soon after his appointment of Goodwill Ambassador for The Rio Olympics announced, an array of Sports legend has said unfavourable things about him. Some even said that he will only go to do the promotions of his movie on the Rio Olympics Event. After hearing all the raucous against Salman Khan, his father backed Salman and even praised him for his talent.

Renowned Film Writer Salim Khan took to twitter and opened his hearts out in favour of his son. In one of his tweet he directly targeted Sports Legend Milkha Singh. As recently, ‘Flying Sikh’ Jeev Milkha Singh says that Why to import a Bollywood celebrity to become the Goodwill Ambassador for The Rio Olympics. He actually wanted someone from the sports fraternity to be a Goodwill Ambassador. On his harsh remark over Salman, Salim khan says that he is not only Bollywood, it is the Indian film industry.

Not only Milkha Singh was against Salman, Even other sports personality too were against the IOA’s decision, who appointed Salman. To defend Salman on this, Salim Khan says, though he has not participated in sports formally but he is a first class Swimmer, Cyclist and Weight Lifter. It seems Salim Khan’s word will definitely let others keep quiet in the matter.

Even, the Olympic gold medallist Yogeshwar Dutt felt unhappy when he heard that Salman is appointed for Goodwill Ambassador. Yogeshwar blamed that Salman’s main intention would be promoting his upcoming film ‘Sultan’ at Rio Olympics.

After all this furore, let’s see if IOA’s will change its decision or Salman will remain the Goodwill Ambassador. On the film front, Salman is currently busy with Sultan, which is scheduled to release this Eid.
