Saif Ali Khan’s Web Series Sacred Games Will Have Four Seasons
Saif Ali Khan is all set to make his digital debut with Netflix Originals Sacred Games. The series is based on a novel of the same name. The web series will also feature Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte in supporting roles. Popular video streaming platform Netflix has released the teaser of the series, which has raised the curiosity among viewers. Now, the latest report suggests that the series will have four seasons.
Sacred Games Season 1 will premiere on Netflix this summer. After that, there are three more seasons planned. Saif will shoot for the series till 2020. Clarifying about the latest development, Saif said that they have been able to cover only one-third of Vikram Chandra novel in the first season.
Each season will have eight episodes in total. The report further said that Saif will start shooting for the second season in September this year. The actor further added that they’ll have one season per year. The first season of Scared Games will premiere on July 6.
Talking about the shooting of the series, Saif Ali Khan seemed pretty happy that they were able to shoot in real locations in Mumbai. He further added that they will show Mumbai in never seen before avatar. The actor also talks about his extensive preparation that went into playing a Sardar cop, Sartaj Singh. However, he seemed pretty happy to get such unusual chance.
On the film front, Saif Ali Khan will be seen in Baazar, whose release date has not been confirmed yet. Currently, he is shooting for Navdeep Singh’s period drama film, where he is playing a role of a vengeful Pathan.
