The actor was poured in wishes from everyone from his fans to friends. Many celebrities from Bollywood to Cricket wished legendary actor on his birthday.

Many popular celebrities from all around the country sent their wishes to the actor. The God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar also wished the actor on his special day. Sachin was embarrassed in front of Amitabh Bachchan

It is well known facts that both of the legends admire each other a lot. We have seen both of them at some high profile events or parties. It is believed that their families are also very close to each other. On this special occasion of 75th birthday of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin shared a very candid moment, where he was so embarrassed in front of the actor that he didn’t know where to look.

Here what Sachin said to Mid-Day:

“It involved my son Arjun. He was only a year-and-a-half old then. We were shooting a commercial and in between shots, Arjun was sitting on our laps. Arjun was having an orange and after finishing it, he coolly wiped his hands on Mr. Bachchan’s kurta. I didn’t know where to look. I was so embarrassed.”

Popular cricketer relived his favorite moment of actor’s performance. Sachin talked about the awesome performance of Lata Ji and Amitabh sharing the stage together. He discusses how it feels to watch them live sitting in the audience with none other than no one other than Rekha.

Talking about the same, Sachin said:

“Oh yes, that was years ago. Lata Ji was singing a song from ‘Silsila’ and Amitji appeared on the stage to recite his dialogues. That was the only time I saw them perform together. When I was very young, I watched his movies just for the sake of watching them.”

The legendary cricketer further added:

“At that stage, what perhaps drew me was the action part. At different stages of life, you admire the same thing for different reasons. As you grow older, you realise how difficult it must have been for Amitji to enact those roles. Later on, of course, I saw him doing everything — be it emotional, aggressive, tragic or romantic [roles].”

We can proudly say that we are born in the time of Sachin Tendulkar and Amitabh Bachchan era. We are fortunate enough to see these two legends in our lifetime. Sachin Tendulkar is the greatest cricketer of all time, he is called as “God of Cricket”. On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan is the ultimate superstar of Bollywood film industry. He has given countless memorable performances through his very long film career.
