Says the Producer Prachi Nitin Manmohan, “This song is part of a wedding celebration which is happening in the bride’s house. We have often seen such wedding songs, which talk about the family members. In a way, they’re what we look forward to the most during Sangeets. We wanted to incorporate that but in a fun and modern way.”
Adds Choreographer Shabina Khan, “Harshit did a great job creating celebratory upbeat music, the task I faced was to create dance steps that people of all ages could perform and enjoyably so. It was fun seeing all the ladies dance. Even the non dancers can sway their hips on a song like this”.
In fact, debutant Riva Kishan, the heroine of the film, yesterday met a few young(-at-heart) senior citizens who did indeed sway their hips to the song with her. The cute video has since gone viral!
