Shraddha Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar‘s Rock On 2, which released on November 11, has failed to impress the audience. The musical drama film, which stars Farhan Akhtar, Shraddha Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli, Prachi Desai and Shashank Arora in lead roles, has managed to earn average at the Box Office. The film opened to a poor start and even failed to stand still with decent numbers on the weekend.
Rock On 2, after a poor weekend, is continuing to stay very low during the weekdays. The film has collected only 2 crores* more on Monday and Tuesday and with this, the overall collections stand at 9 crores*. These are definitely not the kind of numbers that the makers would have expected from the sequel. The manner in which the film is currently going, it would be a one week runner at maximum and that is a stark contrast to the kind of run that Rock On had enjoyed when in the select cities, it had stayed on for four to five weeks.
