Rishi Kapoor Threatens To Sue Neighbors for DEFAMATION!

Things seem to have taken an ugly turn when the dispute between Rishi Kapoor and Daffofil Co-operative Housing Society, Mumbai became quite tense because of the construction work going on at Rishi Kapoor’s land in Pali Hill, Bandra. Apparently, the society notified Rishi to stop the construction work 10 days ago via a letter which he has failed to do. Instead Rishi Kapoor has threatened to sue the society on grounds of defamation. Though most of the society residents have backed Rishi Kapoor in this case, the letter drafted to Kapoor by the housing society clearly states that not only did the ‘Bobby’ actor illegally acquire the permit to build a tower on his land but also that the construction work put their society at risk due to the vibrations from the excavation work.

Rishi Kapoor has no intentions of cooling down and has decided to take legal action against the housing society, He was quoted saying,

“I have already spoken to my lawyers and will be filing a defamation suit against the society for defaming me and doing character assassination.”

The ‘Agneepath’ actor further went on to add,

“It’s a mischief by someone in the society, I am a law-abiding citizen and went through the grind like others to obtain permissions. We are aware of a recent builder’s interest in Daffodils. But these are conjectures until proven.”

Moti Khanna tried to handle the situation and he was quoted saying,

“All this was cleared long ago when Rishi Kapoor bought the bungalow. There were some issues and he had written twice to the society to sort out the issues. No one replied at the time. Then why is the society objecting now when he has started the construction? I myself had surveyed the land and he is using only that part of the land which rightfully belongs to him.”

Speaking in favor of Rishi Kapoor, another resident Benny Jacob, cleared that the letter drafted to Rishi went out without the prior consent of all the residents of the housing society. He was quoted saying,

“This is not fair. We don’t even know who sent the letter. But we do owe him an apology. We have absolutely no problem with the construction work being carried on in his land.”

Well, let’s wait and watch how this one is going to turn our for Rishi Kapoor!
