Rishi Kapoor and the entire family to REDEVELOP RK Studios and here’s how
RK Studio was established in the name of Raj Kapoor! Major fire broke out at RK Studios during the shoot of the dance reality show Super Dancer 2 on September 16, 2017.This incident was a shocker to the Kapoor family fire destroyed their legacy RK Studios. The studio, as maintained by the family, had some immense emotional value considering that it was built by their patriarch Raj Kapoor.

The recent developments suggest that Rishi Kapoor has now taken up the task of recreating and rebuilding the studio! He has had discussions with the concerned authorities over it and a source says that they are planning to develop the place in two phases. Explaining which, Rishi Kapoor mentioned that one part of the studio will focus on keeping the spirit of it alive that may also feature the Kapoor memorial whereas the other one will be similar to the facilities that are provided by other studios.
Rishi Kapoor also mentioned that the location shall be taken into consideration since currently it is located in eastern Mumbai but most of the shoots are planned in western Mumbai at the Film city due to lack of amenities in the eastern Mumbai nearby areas. But he did mention that the Chembur location at the Pune-Mumbai Highway make sit near to the airport!
Rishi Kapoor has stated no third party involvement!
