Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor has been admitted to HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday. Confirming his health condition, his elder brother Randhir Kapoor said that he has been taken to hospital after he struggled to breath.
Source close to Rishi Kapoor said, “He’s not well and so he’s hospitalised. He is suffering from cancer and he was facing some breathing problem. His wife Neetu Kapoor and actor-son Ranbir Kapoor are by his side. His health is stable now.”
Rishi Kapoor underwent treatment for Cancer in US and returned to India last September. Earlier in February, he was taken to hospital twice in Delhi and Mumbai.
The actor recently announced his upcoming project with Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone. This will be a remake of Hollywood film The Intern.
