Rishabh Pant Does An MS Dhoni By Playing His Signature Helicopter Shot, Netizens Call Him Dhoni 2.0
Indian Premier League 2019 has started and how. After a not so good first match, fans witnessed everything they would have imagined in Sunday’s doubleheader. Firstly, Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 6 wickets with only 2 balls left. Then attention shifted to the second match being played between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals at Wankhede Stadium.
During the match, Rishabh Pant wreaked havoc on Mumbai bowlers and hit several big shots in his explosive innings. He even thrashed Jaspreet Bumrah and singlehandedly change the shape of the game. Delhi scored 99 runs in last 6 overs, all thanks to Pant. Ultimately, Mumbai lost the game by 37 runs.
Rishabh Pant literally took on Mumbai alone and his onslaught will be remembered for a very long time by cricket fans. With his immense innovative and power hitting style, he hits the ball out of the park. His outstanding innings resulted in Delhi’s win. He scored 78 runs in just 27 deliveries.
With his powerful performance, Rishabh Pant left Mumbai bowlers searching for answers which they never found. Interestingly, he even thrashed Jasprit Bumrah, who is the world’s best bowler in white ball cricket. However, the best part came when Rishabh copied MS Dhoni and played his signature Helicopter shot hitting the ball out of the park. He left fans mesmerized with his left-handed helicopter shot. In the process, he also broke MSD’s record of fastest fifty against Mumbai Indians. His broke MSD’s 20- ball fifty records with his 18-ball fifty against MI.
