Rhea Chakraborty asks Mumbai Police for protection after her father gets mobbed by reporters

Actress Rhea Chakraborty is under media scrutiny in her as she and her family members are listed as accused in Sushant Singh Rajputâs death case FIR lodged by late actorâs father. Keeping a close vigilance on the actress and her family, the media persons on Wednesday surrounded her father an ex-army man, Indrajit Chakraborty at the entrance of his building, which was recorded and then uploaded by the âSonali Cableâ actress on her Instagram account along with a post asking Mumbai Police for giving her family protection.
The actress in her post alleged that she and her family members are facing difficulties due to the media reporterâs camping outside her residence. She also said that though she and her family members have been trying to step out from their home to cooperate with ED, CBI, and various investigation authorities, but are facing difficulties. The âJalebiâ actress who is also the prime accused in SSRâs case also addressed this as a threat to her and her familyâs life especially given the Covid-19 outbreak.
Her caption read, âThis is inside my building compound , The man in this video is my father Indrajit chakraborty ( retd . army officer ) We have been trying to get out of our house to cooperate with ED , CBI and various investigation authorities to cooperate. There is a threat to my life and my familyâs life. We have informed the local police station and even gone there , no help provided.â
The actress further added, âWe have informed the investigation authorities to help us get to them , no help arrived . How is this family going to live ? We are only asking for assistance , to cooperate with the various agencies that have asked us . I request @mumbaipolice to please provide protection so that we can cooperate with these investigation agencies . #safetyformyfamily In covid times , these basic law and order restrictions need to be provided . To note, after her alleged deleted WhatsApp chats about illegal drugs with her associates was handed out by the Enforcement Directorate to Central Bureau of Investigation, now the Narcotic Control Bureau is also reported to launch its independent investigation in Sushantâs alleged suicide case.
