Review of Upcoming “Baar Baar Dekho” Songs

Hardly it is possible that songs going to be hit nowadays in todays generation. It is said that songs which have touched people's heart are going to be on the 1st list of everyone’s mind. So it is possible that you can make out which song is on the top list of everyone’s playlist.. Same here what happened in this new generation song which has crossed everyone’s mind and now is on top trending. Everyone seems to be really attached with that song and they have lost in that song and now has become Party Anthem. If there has been one song that ruled the musical charts for the last couple of weeks, it has been Kala Chashma. The makers of Baar Baar Dekho have been smart enough to release what they knew was an instant winner with the viewers, and will keep them invested in the Katrina Kaif – Sidharth Malhotra’s time travelling flick. Now that the entire album is out, let’s look if the rest of the album matches up to it. 1.Kho Gaye Hum Kahan There are some songs that touch your heart, the moment you hear the first stirrings. Fortunately for us, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, composed by Jasleen Royal, is such a song that impresses us from the word go. With minimal instrumentals, soft rendition (Jasleen Royal and Prateek Kumar) and the that whistle at the end of the song, it is clear winner and will stay in your heart for a long time. 2.Sau Aasmaan If you are reminded of Sooraj Dooba Hai Yaaron when you hear Sau Aasmaan for the first time, join the club, guys. It’s another matter that the composer for both the songs happens to be the same – Amal Mallik. If you overlook the similarities, Sau Aasmaan is surely a fun, romantic number. Sing by Amal's inhouse singer and cousin, Armaan Malik, along with Neeti Mohan, this song is a blast and will keep you hooked. 3.Dariya Sung and composed by Arko, who has wrote the lyrics as well, Dariya is a retelling of the Heer Ranjha fable. Again like Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, we love Dariya thanks to the minimal orchestrations and Arko’s earnest singing. It may not live long on your playlist but it is definitely pleasant in your ears. 4.Nachde Ne Saare If you expected Kala Chashma to be the wedding song of the album, you are so wrong. Jasleen Royal returns to the album and she composes and croons Nachde Ne Saare, the wedding song of the album, as she gets company in Harshdeep Kaur and Siddharth Mahadevan (who is so sounding similar to his dad). With enough Punjabi swag and beats, it is surely does just to the genre of Punjabi wedding songs. 5.Teri Khair Mangdi One thing I never understand is when characters in the film speak Hindi with each other, why do they have to sing in Punjabi. Another song from Baar Baar Dekho that has its lyrics in Punjabi. Teri Khair Mangdi, sung and composed by Bilal Saeed. was a part of his album called Twelve. The new version is slower than the original with more pathos in the beats. 6.Kala Chashma Well, do I need to say anything more about this chartbuster that got 20 million views in just two days of its release? The remastered version of the popular Punjabi pop song has already got everyone interested about the film, that a review by me is won’t make any difference. Not that I have anything bad to say about it! Kala Chashma is a clear winner, with its funky beats, playful vocals by Amar Arshi, Badshah, Neha Kakkar and Indeep Bakshi, and of course, Katrina’s abs (Sorry, I know it is meaningless in a music review but just can’t put the picture out of my mind). Seems like all these songs have been on the top list of the people's mind and they have well choice of the songs. Thanks to the maker who have worked so hard and chose the right one.
