Vikas Gupta asked to leave ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 9’ just 2 weeks before the finale, here’s why

After Zain Imam and Aly Goni the another name who is eliminated from ninth edition of Khatron Ke Khiladi is Bigg Boss’s master mind Vikas Gupta. News suggested that just before 2 weeks of finale, makers asked Vikas to lave the show because of his severe shoulder injury. A report shared by DNA states that Vikas happens to be one tough competition for other contestants on the show. Even after severe shoulder injury he kept on performing task after taking painkiller injection. But due to consumption of painkillers his heart rate shoot up and so doctors on the set didn’t allow him to perform further.

An insider says, “Vikas was one of the top contenders on the show. But, he hid his shoulder injury from the makers and was performing all the stunts after taking painkiller injections that could have become lethal. Keeping the safety of the contestants in mind, the channel has booted him from the competition.” The source adds that ,“his medication shoots up the heart rate and if combined with rigorous physical activity, it could prove fatal. The doctors refused to give him a clean chit and he was asked to leave,” the informer says.
