Remember these TV shows which made our childhood beautiful 1) Shaktiman The frictional story is produced by Mukesh Khanna, who was only ‘Shaktiman.’ We can never forget his ‘Choti choti magar moti baatien.’ 2) Chandrakanta It is based on famous novel by Devanki Nandan Khatri. It was telecasted between 1994 and 1996. It plays a very important role in Hindi literature. 3) Malgudi Days We all remember our childhood by this famous serial. Malgudi days is based on the work of R.K. Narayan and the Cartoonist R.K. Laxman. The stories were one episode long, about the everyday life of ten-year-old Swami and his friends. 4) Captain Vyom Is an Indian scientific serial directed by Ketan Mehta and the role of Captain was played by Milind Soman who was an alien and son of two scientists. 5) Alif Laila The story of King Shahryar and Queen Scheherazade. It was based on the stories from One Thousand and One Nights, in form of singe day episodes and we cannot forget the Green Genie from Alif Laila. 6) Byomkesh Bakshi It is famous frictional crime Detective Bengali literature created by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. Byomkesh disliked being called a detective and preffered the term satyanweshi, meaning seeker of truth. 7) Dekh Bhai Dekh It is produced by Jaya Bachchan in 1993, the story was about three generation of Diwaan family that lived in same house. 8) Jungle book Childhood was amazing watching this animation as a story and the Mowgli as ‘ Chaddi Pahen Kar Phool Khila hai.’. It was written by Rudyard Kipling and the TV series is an adaption of his book. 9) Vikram Betaal Vikram and Betaal contained storied from Indian mythology and served the purpose of teaching life lessons to kids. The concept of the story was taken from the tales of the great King Vikramaditya and the Vaitaala, a ghost analogous to a vampire in Western literature. 10) Mahabharata Based on the biggest Hindu Epic, Mahabharata was a 94 episode TV series and was produced by B. R. Chopra and directed by his son Ravi Chopra.
