The much acclaimed movie, “Border” by J. P. Dutta, known for directing patriotic war films, is an adaptation from real life events that happened at the Battle of Longewala fought in Rajasthan. The movie had won “Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration” in 1998. This shows what an impact it had on the patriotic Indians. Even today, each and every actor in the film is alive in all our memories.
If you do remember, Suneil Shetty had portrayed the character of BSF soldier Bhairon Singh, who left for war just after the first night of his marriage and never returned as he sacrificed his life for the country in the war.
