Bollywood’s veteran actress Rekha recently attended a success bash for the movie Dangal in Mumbai. She was invited by none other than Aamir Khan himself as a special guest. We all know how much Dangal was appreciated by one and all for it’s splendid portrayal of the lives of two female wrestlers. Releasing in the end of last year, the film broke all records on box office and more than that it won many hearts. Talking about women empowerment, the movie presented a different perspective to parenting and women issues.
Rekha who was always an admirer of Aamir and his work, had previously appreciated many of his works. This time Rekha took another way to express what she felt about Dangal. She handed over a letter to Aamir who accepted it with all humility. The guests on the occasion reported that the actor evidently blinked with tears in his eyes and was extremely moved by the appreciation he received by the yesteryear super heroine.
Rekha has a distinct definition for femininity with her bold statements and traditional looks. The lady almost never uses social media platforms to express her views. She is classical in her own ways and so the gesture is all the more precious.
Aamir shared that he was extremely moved by the contents of the handwritten letter which was came from the heart. Dangal is indeed special for many of us in different ways.
