Nandish and Rashami met each other on the sets of ‘Uttaran’ and tied the knot in February 2011. However, their relation hasn’t been a smooth one since 2013. Though, the couple decided to give it another chance after they appeared on a dance based reality show Nach Baliye 7. The news is Rashami Desai divorcing Nandish Sandhu.
Rashami Desai and Nandish Sandhu’s divorce has been a hot topic for a couple of days now, and some reports have claimed the latter’s philandering ways is the root cause of the split. Talking about it, Nandish came clean about not having a relationship outside his marriage.
Rubbishing rumours of dating model Ankita Shorey, the actor said he would announce it for the world if he was seeing anyone at the moment. “I am not dating anyone currently. Whenever I get into a relationship, I will be vocal about it and not hide it as its always been that way for me,” The Times of India quoted him as saying.
He elaborated that it was Rashami who filed the divorce papers last and this year. They were giving the relationship another shot during their “Nach Baliye 7” stint, but things didn’t turn out the way they thought it would, and so he didn’t resist the idea of divorce when she filed the papers for the second time.
“Things got better, but post ‘Nach Baliye’ this year on 23 September, she approached me again for a divorce and we mutually decided to part ways. I have consented for a divorce not because there is someone else in my life but because I have tried my 100% and I have really given our marriage the best shot possible,” said Nandish.
