The Streetwear label Adidas Originals has roped with the Padmavati controversy actor Adidas Originals in order to represent the renowned brand in India.
Dave Thomas, the managing director of Adidas Group conveyed “Ranveer embodies the adidas Originals brand in every sense. He has been often spotted, sporting the trefoil and the three stripes, now you will see a lot more of that in the coming future.”
Ranveer Singh disguised on stage, wearing apparels and accessories made from the Adidas Originals, shredded his disguise and waved the entertainment crowd from the top of the car. Multiple cameras captured the event from the mall’s rooftop.
Giving the crowds a Ranveer flavour, a T-Shirt gun enabled Ranveer to shoot merchandise towards his fans creating the event more interesting. Ranveer interacted with the audiences announcing the store and details about the new Yeezy collection! The launch party was visited by the who’s who of the town as more shoes from the Yeezy collection were sold.
By the end of the evening, the entire collection had been sold out across the country.
Ranveer Singh also commented “I still own the first pair of superstar sneakers that I bought during my college days and have only gone on to collect more. While I get to be the face of the brand in India, it’s the brand that truly represents me.”
However, Adidas and Ranveer Singh kicked-off partnership with the launch of the first Adidas Originals Store!
