Ranveer Singh is ready to take wife Deepika Padukone’s name, says it is a legendary surname

Ever since Ranveer and Deepika got married, buzz about Deepika Padukone changing her surname has been doing rounds. Earlier in conversation with Famously Filmfare, when Deepika called herself ‘Deepika Padukone wife of Ranveer Singh Padukone’, the video clip from the episode went viral on internet in no time. In a recent interview, Deepika Padukone revealed that she and husband Ranveer Singh never had a conversation about changing their surnames after their wedding.

Now when Ranveer Singh graced the hot seat of the same show- Famously Filmfare, actor revealed a lot of thing about his relationship with Deepika before and after wedding. On show actor revealed that how he use to brag in front of his friends by sending them a picture with Deepika saying, “Look, whom I am hanging out with.”

Commenting over the buzz of adding ‘Padukone’ in his surname, actor said that “Since I have dropped my surname, I need a new one, so why not! It’s a legendary surname.”

On work front, Ranveer Singh last release Simmba has broke the life time box office record of Chennai Express. Actor is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Gully Boy’ which is scheduled to release on 14th February. He have of few more project in his kitty- Karan Johar’s Takht and 1873 n which he’ll be playing the role of ace cricketer Kapil Dev.
