Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat has divided audience in two sections: one, who is loving the films for the grandeur set-up and powerful performances by the lead actors, especially Ranveer Singh, other, who are slamming the movie for its climax scene. Swara Bhasker falls under the latter. Recently, after watching the movie, Swara Bhasker wrote an open letter to Bhansali slamming him for glorifying Sati and Jauhar. Her letter has created huge controversies and many people are slamming the actress. However, Ranveer Singh has come up with the most epic response to the letter.
To uninitiated, Swara Bhasker wrote an open letter to director Bhansali and raise some important questions about the climax of the film. She slammed the Jauhar scene of the movie. She wrote that she felt like being reduced to a vagina after watching the movie.
Many B-Town celebrities have reacted to Swara’s letter. Shahid Kapoor, who is playing Maharawal Ratan Singh, defended the movie. He said that people should see the film in the context of the period and also said it feels “odd”.
Now, Ranveer Singh who is playing the ruthless leader Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat has come up with a response to Swara’s controversial letter.
Ranveer said that he has received a personal message from Swara saying that she loved his performance in the movie. The actor said, “I got a message from Swara just yesterday. She loved my performance in the film. So…,.”

Padmaavat has received the mixed response from the audience as well as critics, but it is doing phenomenal business at the box office. The movie has already earned Rs. 143 Crore in 7 days. It is looking to enter Rs. 200 Crore pretty soon.
