Ranveer Singh dives into crowd at Lakme Fashion Week Summer 2019 at Jio Garden, Bandra, as he rapped live while walking the ramp with his Gully Boy gang to showcase a unique fashion line, GullyGen. He, along with rapper Naezy and other artistes, sang Asli hip hop and Apna Time Aayega from the yet to release film.
Now we all know that Ranveer Singh has been prepping for the release of Gully Boy these days and anyone who has followed his career knows that Singh gets deeply involved in the characters he plays.

Ranveer said, “Our film is closely connected to the music and the music was the heart of our show. There were unique performances, a live music show… The entire gang has authentic rappers and they contributed to the film, dialogues and music of the film.
The Actor was performing to the songs of his upcoming film ‘Gully Boy’ on an outdoor stage at the Lakme Fashion Week venue. During the performances of the film’s title Apna Time Ayega, Singh decided to surf. The crowd present didn’t quite expect it as most of them were busy recording their favourite star. Singh landed on fans who somehow managed to keep him afloat, saving him the embarrassment of crashing face-first on the ground.

However, a few of them, mostly women, were sent sprawling to the ground with the sudden impact. A Mid-Day picture says a rather telling story about what happened after Singh tried and failed to catch the wave.
