The popular director Ajit Rampal of the film Nasha has come up with another blockbuster Hard Kaur on December 15, 2017. Chaitannya Kanhai aka Randeep Rana has worked in the women empowerment film with UK actress Deana Uppal in his forthcoming film Hard Kaur, directed by Ajit Rampal. Hard Kaur is the first Punjabi female-oriented movie. Along with the actress Deana, Randeep Rana has fought his way out that strengthens his character in a controversial way.
Being asked about choosing a role in female oriented movies he conveys that he has been a simple boy and loves to connect with movies leading to social awareness making the situations more intense and different.
Chaitannya Kanhai playing as Randeep Rana is an encouraging role standing tall with the rights of women. However, the actor can be seen with some of the renowned stars of the industry Nirmal Rishi, Aman Grewal, Raj Ninjer, Tanvir Singh, Swati Bakshi and Neet Kaur. The film is produced by Delhiwood Studios.
The movie deals with a Punjabi girl playing the role of Sirat, who has been harassed every day by men and how she handles the situations. Apart from Uppal who is playing the lead character, Chaitannya Kanhai aka Randeep Rana is also working with the veteran actress Nirmal Rishi.
About signing the movie, Deana Uppal commented, “I am enjoying playing the role of Sirat as I feel I have connected with her situations. She is a simple girl but the people around her have bad intentions. The movie shows how 5 different Kaur’s deal with the situations differently”.
Choosing to take up a career in films, Chaitannya Kanhai said, “ I always wanted to be the part of the Indian film industry. I give importance to every role I come across. Being a wanderlust, I love to travel back and forth for my assignments.”
