Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda is all set to star in a historical movie based on ‘Battle of Saragarhi’. In this upcoming movie, Randeep will essay the character of British Indian Army leader Havaldar Ishar Singh who fights against the Afgan forces. At latest, the first look of Randeep Hooda from the movie is out now and he really looks intense.
In the past, Randeep Hooda has played an array of versatile roles in movies like ‘Sarbjit’, ‘Rang Rasiya’ and ‘Sultan’. In this movie too, his role is very different from the other. This role will be a challenging one for the actor, whose previous performances was well received by the fans.
Helmed by Rajkumar Santoshi, the film will be produced by Group Chairman Raju Chadha under the banner of ‘Wave Cinemas’. The story of the movie deals with the historic battle of ‘Battle of Saragarhi’ which was fought on September 12, 1897.
According to the sources, Randeep Hooda is prepping up for the role by doing rigorous training and studying the history of the Sikh people. The film will all set to roll in the months of September 12 this year.
Interestingly, Ajay Devgn’s first look of the film ‘Sons Of Sardaar’ is also out and the movie also deals with the same historical story. We have to wait and see, Which of these two films will go for a long run at the Box-Office.
