Randeep Hooda’s doctor: Drastic weight change could lead to serious health issues
Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda is a method actor and when it comes to getting into the skin of the character, he never shy to do some extreme things too. Recently, Randeep Hooda collapsed on the sets while shooting for Sultan due to a severe attack of appendicitis. Soon after that, he rushed to the hospital and currently recovering well.
Anjali Hooda, who is a sister and doctor of Randeep Hooda, says drastic weight change for the body is a difficult thing for both mentally and physically. We all know that Randeep had drastically reduced his weight to an extreme level to play for his character of ‘Sarbjit’ in an Omung Kumar Film. Soon after that he regained weight for his upcoming film ‘Sultan’, where he is playing the role of a coach for Salman Khan. This sudden weight loss and weight gain have made his body weaker.
When asked about the reason to Anjali Hooda, she said, “For an actor, it may not be difficult because he is very motivated. But for his body, it is very difficult because it doesn’t understand starvation. It is very difficult mentally and physically. It’s (appendicitis) not directly related to the fluctuation of weight. But yeah, weight loss of extreme type can cause faeces becoming hard because there is no fibre. This is minimal of a problem that can happen and this is a good example for people to know…”
Randeep Hooda’s upcoming film ‘Sarbjit’ trailer is already released online which is receiving good responses from an audience and the Bollywood film Industry. The film is helmed by Omung Kumar which also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Darshan Kumaar and Richa Chaddha in key roles. The film is going to hit the silver screen on May 20.
