Ranbir Kapoor, who was quite busy for the past 3 years with the shootings of his two mega movies, ‘Shamshera’ and ‘Brahmastra’, has reportedly wrapped up his ambitious period drama along with Sanjay Dutt and is about to complete the long shootings of Ayan Mukerji’s directorial. Now after Ranbir’s commitments with these two movie are about to get over, as per reports the actor is finally set to start his next love story under director Luv Ranjan.
Giving this breaking scoop, an industry source revealed, “Come this November, Ranbir Kapoor will team up with Shraddha Kapoor to kick off Luv Ranjan’s much-awaited romantic film in Mumbai. It will be a brief schedule to start with, more of a test shoot to get hang of the guidelines, rules and regulations and safety protocols to be followed for shooting in the midst of a pandemic. Following the Mumbai schedule, the team will fly off abroad for a marathon shoot.”
Helmed by the ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ famed director Luv Ranjan, Ranbir’s love story sets in Spain. The final narration of the script had happened at the start of September this year at Luv’s office, with the main leads of the movie Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. Talking about the script, the insider said, “Shraddha plays the character of a waitress in the film, while Ranbir plays the lover boy winning over the lady with his charm.” The parts of the film will be shot in Spain over a period of six months starting from this November and is expected to wrap up by April, next year.
“It’s all uncertain at this point of time and one can’t promise on exact timelines, but the tentative idea is to wrap up by April. It’s a romantic comedy and shooting shouldn’t take a lot of time unlike other films of Ranbir like Shamshera and Brahmastra. Ranbir will start one more film in April, the modalities of which are being worked upon at the moment,” concluded the person.
