Ranbir Kapoor nervous about his sister’s reality show Debut

Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Nervous’ Reaction to Sister Riddhima’s Reality Show Debut; Alia Bhatt and Neetu Kapoor’s Support

Ranbir Kapoor’s sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, made her on-screen debut with the reality drama Fabulous Lives vs. Bollywood Wives. In a recent interview, Riddhima revealed that her brother was “nervous” about her first television appearance, given her candid and outspoken personality. However, her mother, Neetu Kapoor, and sister-in-law, Alia Bhatt, were all praised for the show.

Ranbir’s Concerns Over Riddhima’s Straightforward Nature

Riddhima shared that Ranbir was unsure about how she would fare on the show. He expressed concerns about her being too outspoken and possibly saying something “out of line.” In an interview with Zoom, Riddhima recalled how her brother worried she might get into a conflict due to her “no-filter” attitude. “I think that’s where his doubt came from, wondering what I might do or say. So yeah, he was a little scared, a little nervous,” she revealed.

Neetu Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s Enthusiastic Response

In contrast, Riddhima mentioned that her mother, Neetu Kapoor, binge-watched the entire season on the first day and thoroughly enjoyed it. Neetu didn’t just love the show because of her daughter but genuinely appreciated it. She added that Alia Bhatt, her loving sister-in-law, along with her mother, Soni Razdan, also watched the show and loved it.

Ranbir’s Surprised Reaction on the Show

In the first episode of Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives, Ranbir was seen in a video message, expressing his shock and excitement. “F***! Riddhima is doing a reality series. It’s not even dawned upon me,” he said, laughing at the unexpected turn. He also noted how Riddhima had always looked down on movies, making her reality show debut a surprise to him.

Ranbir humorously described Riddhima as outspoken with no filters and joked about how their family, particularly the “fiery” Kapoors, often end up getting into trouble.

The Show’s Success

Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatics Entertainment, Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives also features Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, Shalini Passi, and others. The show, which premiered in October on Netflix, has garnered attention for offering a peek into the glamorous lives of Bollywood wives.
