Rana Daggubati Confirms No Clash Between The Release Of Baahubali: The Conclusion And Robot 2.0
There were reports in the air about the clash of Rana Daggubati starrer Bahubali: The Conclusion and Rajinikanth starrer Robot 2.0, stating the films were going to release on the same day at the box office next year. It is now reported that the two blockbuster hits of 2017 will no longer observe a Box Office clash.
Bahubali: The Conclusion actor Rana Daggubati stated that Rajinikanth’s film Robot 2.0 won’t be releasing with their sequel of Bahubali. Further, he said,”Bahubali: The Conclusion is highly anticipated movie of 2017.The film is still in shooting phase. The post production and VFX team are working on their part to complete the film as soon as possible. But, the VFX part will consume a lot of time to complete the work. We were scheduled to release the film this year, got delayed as the VFX had consumed a lot of time. Right now we are working on the parts that were left during the shoot.” But he confirmed, that Bahubali: The Conclusion will be releasing on the scheduled date April 14, 2017.which happens to be Good Friday, thus giving the film an extended weekend of 3 days.
Bahubali: The Conclusion and Robot 2.0 are VFX heavy and are made on huge budgets. Well, Bahubali: The Conclusion is directed by SS. Rajamouli starring Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan. On the other hand, the Shankar directed Robot 2.0 featuring superstar Rajinikanth, Amy Jackson and Akshay Kumar. The Bollywood star Akshay Kumar will play the lead role of villain in the film Robot 2.0
Both the films are being termed as a “massive clash” of 2017. Rajinikanth’s Robot 2.0 is a science fiction film whereas Bahubali: The Conclusion is a period drama. Both the films are big budget movies and that’s why they are eagerly awaited by viewers. Also, both the films will see massive releases across multiple languages.
