Indian football has not found as much success as the cricket. In fact, no other sports enjoy even half of the success of cricket in the country. However, Indian football team captain created a tremendous buzz with his honest appeal video, which went viral in no time. The video was so effective that the entire stadium was filled during the match India Vs Kenya. Everyone came to support Indian team.
As promised, Indian team displayed superb performance and won the match 3-nil. Sunil Chhetri lead team must be feeling proud of the response they got. Everyone was all praise for Indian football team after they defeated Kenya comfortably.
However, not everyone seems to be impressed with the performance. One such person is popular social media user Ram Subramanian.
Taking different routes that everyone else, he took a sarcastic dig at Sunil Chhetri. He tweeted,
“Dear @chetrisunil11 Indian football rocks. I just found out that Messi and Ronaldo, despite being such prolific scorers, have not managed to score a single goal against India yet. That says something about our team. Congrats. You have my support. Will try to watch every game.”
Ram’s sarcasm didn’t go down well with Twitterati. They trolled him left, right and centre for his dig at Sunil. Check out some of the reactions right here.
