When Filmymantra interviewed Rakhi Sawant, and asked her what was the actual matter about the whole controversy she replied, “All of the allegations of my arrest warrent are absolutely false! I’ve heard people saying i was in jail and Punjab Police came in search of me. This is not true, infact i am not at all aware about what is happening. I am in Mumbai, shooting.”
Further she added, “My friend Mika called me saying that a model had entered his house at 4, and she started putting allegations on him saying that Mika tried to rape her. Mika denied, and said that the girl had taken drugs and was abusing the police as well. Mika told me that as he is busy travelling, you handle the media for me. I just tried to support him as a friend and got trapped in the case. Media asked me, if he is your enemy, why are you supporting him? To which i replied, who said your enemy can’t be your friend? At that point a story just popped in my mind. It was about Valmiki, the time when he was in jungle, and hunted. I just tried to give them an example. There are many such documentaries on him as well, then why don’t they just remove everything from the internet? They have clearly just targeted me for their own publicity.”
