Rajkumar Rao Wins The Best Actor Award At Asia Pacific Screen Awards, Dedicates To His Mother
Rajkumar Rao is arguably the most talented actors working in Bollywood industry. We don’t need to talk about his acting, he has proved his mental through highly critically films. His latest outing Newton was unable to do wonders, but have received huge praise from critics. The movie is receiving reorganizations in all around the world.
Newton is an official entry for the Oscars 2018 in the category of the foreign language film. The movie has recently won two awards at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards in Brisbane.
Lead actor Rajkumar Rao bags the Best Actor Award, whereas Amit V. Masurkar and Mayank Tewari won the Awards for best screenplay.
Rajkumar Twitted about his big win. His Tweet reads, “Won the best actor award at the most prestigious #APSA2017 (Asia Pacific Screen Awards). Thank you Maa. Thank u team #Newton. Don’t stop chasing your dreams because they really do come true.”

The talented actor attended the event despite his ankle injury. After winning the honor, the actor says it was worth traveling this far. The acceptance speech of the actor was very inspiring, as he said, “This is very encouraging… It inspires me to work harder everyday. Congratulation to fellow nominees, your performances have inspired all of us. Let us keep doing this beautiful work making these wonderful stories. Let us keep doing that. Here is to cinema,”
After saying above-mentioned words, the actor left the stage but return back to add few more lines. The actor said, “I am sorry. Can I take 10 more seconds? It is very important. It was a hard time for us to make this film. When I was shooting for this film, my dear mother passed away. We were shooting in the forests of Chhattisgarh. It is because of her blessings, I believe that ‘Newton’ is getting all these appreciations. So thank you mom and I love you.”
