Sushant Singh Rajput’s mysterious death case has been investigated by three central investigating agencies all probing the matter in their respective angles. Where CBI is heading the probe, Narcotics Control Bureau is trying hard to bust the Bollywood drug nexus while Enforcement Directorate is getting all the financial angles checked that could have led to ‘Kedarnath’ actor’s death.
As earlier, it was claimed that the actor wasn’t mentally fit and was going through phase of depression and anxiety which was alleged to be due to ‘Nepotism’, ‘Favouritism’ and ‘Gangism’ prevalent in Bollywood that took many projects from the actor’s kitty and were slipped into star kids bags. Many financial claims were also made after which ED had started its extensive probe and summoned several industry insiders to record their statements but lately, as per reports, SSR’s ‘Raabta’ filmmaker Dinesh Vijan was also interrogated by the ED for 8 long hours on Monday over Rajput’s death case.
To note, the two had joined hands for ‘Raabta’ in 2017, which had gone to the back burner due to the lockdown. In its eight hours probe, ED reportedly questioned the director about remuneration Sushant received for Raabta, their future projects if they had any, the rumours of them making two movies together, however, as per reports the second project never happened and many other questions.
Furthermore, the reports also have it that ED might interrogate other filmmakers who have worked with the ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ actor to help them in their further investigation in the case.
For the unversed, the 34-year-old actor was found dead, on June 14, at his Bandra residence under mysterious circumstances which sent a shockwave across the nation and his fans and family started to look for the answers to what transpired with the late actor to allegedly take his life. While several revelations have been made in the case so far including SSR’s mental health and the drugs angle, the ED has also been investigating the money laundering case in connection with the late actor’s death.
