T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar’s wife Divya Khosla is not pretty happy with the casting of Yami Gautam in Batti Gul Meter Chalu. But it looks Yami is pretty safe from Divya’s fury, as she is almost finalized for the movie.
Now, it is almost final that Yami Gautam will feature in Batti Gul Meter Chalu alongside Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, all thanks to the director Shree Narayan Singh. He plays the peacemaker and wanted Pulkit Samrat’s girlfriend Yami to be part of the stellar cast.
Batti Gul Meter Chalu is an upcoming comedy-drama directed by Toilet: Ek Prem Katha director Shree Narayan Singh. The movie features Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam in the lead roles. The movie is based on electricity theft.
To uninitiated, Divya Khosla didn’t want Yami Gautam to be part of the movie because she is not on talking terms with the actress. Yami and Divya got into some altercation during the promotional activities of Sanam Re. During one of the promotional events, on being asked about her affair with Pulkit Samrat, Yami said that the news came from the production team of the movie and she had no idea about it. It irked Divya, as Yami was directly pointing fingers at her team for leaking the info.
Producer Prernaa Arora was caught between two women, who were not in the mood for letting it go. Therefore, director Shree has resolved the issue, at least for now. Let’s see what happens next!
