After taking the box-office by storm last year with his adult comedy film ‘Good Newwz’, director Raj Mehta is all set to hit the theaters with another amazing script and star cast.
As per sources, Raj Mehta has already started to work on his upcoming project for which he has signed talented star cast Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani for his upcoming untitled fun film. The details of this much anticipated movie are still under wraps, but with professional onboard on this high concept film, it seems promising that this movie will also shatter all the records.
“Raj Mehta has signed Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani in this fun film, and the two will be romantically paired alongside each other. The duo signed the dotted lines today at Karan Johar’s office in Bandra,” said an industry insider.
Raj Mehta’s ‘Goog Newwz’ had hit the theaters last year during the New Year weekend featuring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh. Made under Karan Johar Production, the movie joined Rs 200 crore-club and was much appreciated by the critics and audience alike.
Meanwhile, Varun and Kiara were to work in Shashank Khaitan’s ‘Mr. Lele’ but the film was eventually shelved as things didn’t work out between the stakeholders. We have, however, seen the duo together in Dhwani Gautam and Abhishek Varman directed ‘Kalank’, where the chemistry between the two was appreciated.
