Actress Priyanka Chopra has walked out of a project very recently as she didn’t want to work with Irrfan Khan in the lead. The project was based on the life of poet Sajid Ludhianvi and Amrita Pritam.
“Priyanka had reservations about being romantically paired opposite Irrfan. The offbeat pairing could have clashed with her very commercial image in her upcoming films like ‘Mary Kom’ and ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, besides her international popstar avatar. We tried to work things out but unfortunately it didn’t go as planned,” says a unit member of the film.
